Exhibition on “Evolution of Indian Currency” held by Currency Note Press, Nashik under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” from 08.06.2022 to 12.06.2022.

An exhibition on “Evolution of Indian Currency” was organised by CNP, Nashik in the premises of SPMCIL Corporate Research & Development Centre, Nashik Road from 08.06.2022 to 10.06.2022 under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Hemant Tukaram Godse, Hon’ble MP and Ms. Tripti Patra Ghosh, CMD, SPMCIL on 08.06.2022. Sh. Sunil Kumar Sinha, Director(HR), SPMCIL, Sh. Ajay Agarwal, Director (Finance), SPMCIL, Sh. Vinay Kumar Singh, CVO, SPMCIL and other dignitaries from local Administration, were also present during the opening ceremony. The exhibition was free for the visitors. There was a huge response from the public i.e. students from various schools, employees, retired employees were very enthusiastic towards the exhibition. Keeping in view the high demand from public the duration of the exhibition was further extended by upto 12.06.2022 . India Government Mint, Mumbai also opened a Coin Sale Counter in this exhibition and displayed Commemorative Coins. The visitors showed great interest to see and purchased the Commemorative Coin in large number. More than 50000 visitors visited the exhibition and appreciated SPMCIL for organizing this wonderful exhibition.
